Lake Show all day. Rajon Rondo is basura bro! Once in awhile he can drop some dimes but his jump shot is one of the worst ever. The kid just looks scared in chrunch time. He's like, "here you take the ball, " as he makes some crazy lob pass coming off a pick and roll. Ray Allen fell off, and unless somebody else can contribute the Celtics are doomed. Kobe's too good. A sweep would not be shocker.

Lakers will lose only one game in this series. Fisher has 3 rings also. Sam Cassell won almost 10 years ago. He isn't a factor. To much Kobe.

Sorry to say that both of you are wrong. It is Rondo's job to dish the ball and take it to the hole which he is more than capable of doing. Drive and dish...hello KG with the nuts in mouth. There were games that Rondo hit double digits in scoring. KG wants it, Pierce knows this could be the last shot they get so, he will step it up. Feel both benches are equal. Rondo is faster than anyone on the court and KG will keep up in the open court. Give the coaching edge to the Lakers. Kobe is no doubt the best player on the court and can control the game like Jordan but he has no Pippen. Boston is the better overall team. No sweep and we will see 7 games.

Big Poppa-
You must be crazy. Dont get me wrong, I love me some KG, but he cant do it all alone. Did you see Rondo last series. That adolescent cant deal with the pressure. Kobe has not Pippen, but he does have a Gasol. The Celtics do have a good bench, but the Lakers bench will out run them. Wait til the Russian assasins, Voujacic & Rodmanovic, come in draining 3's.

Again I quote, Lakers in 5!

Apparently you did not see the same series I watched. Here are some stats of your little adolescent with some additional material......

That brings us back to Rondo and Fisher.

Can Rajon Rondo blow by Derek Fisher? The answer could help determine the NBA Finals. (Elsa / Getty Images)

The 21st pick of the 2006 draft by the Phoenix Suns, acquired by the Celtics for the rights to retiring veteran Brian Grant and a first-round pick in 2007, Rondo's inexperience has shown brightly throughout the playoffs, with ill-advised shots, forcing plays that are not there, and missing some key free throws as well.

But the good has far outweighed his youthful indiscretions on the floor. As the Celtics were putting away the Pistons in the conference finals, Rondo was there for seemingly every long rebound and loose ball — accruing 2.3 steals per game as well. His on-the-ball defense was solid even against a much bigger and experienced point guard such as Billups. Despite teams playing off of him consistently — and the Lakers will very likely do the same — he did consistently hit big shots or dashingly drive to the rim. His fearlessness was constantly on display while averaging 10.5 points, 6.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals in the 20 postseason games.

You must have been watching the Western Conf. series.

I don't think there is a team out there that would not want those numbers going into the finals.

I would put more weight on the 4 th paragraph of your plagerized thoughts.

I'll put the bank on the Lakers!

There is going to be a puddle on the court underneath Rondo right before tip off.

Defense wins championships.

Rondo is playin much better than anybody wants to give him credit for with all the pressure he's under. The Lakers have a good chance obviously but don't count out the C's.

Ray Allen has stepped up, and these dudes are hungry.
I'll let Big Poppa handle this he obviously isn't smitten with Kobe like the rest of you ladies.

Poster BOY said...

Estacio, are you making your selection based on principle cause your a Kobe hater?

Ray Allen stepped up one game against Detroit. Defense may win championships, but that is generally a line reserved for football. Who is gonna provide this defense on Kobe?

Keep hatin Estacio, it seems to be your pleasure. And get off Big Poppa's nut sack.

Peace & Love.

Lakers are not only going to easily win the Championship, but the next two as well. Kobe will finish with 6 rings and if big Phil can stick around, he'll have 12.

Estacio Villa: Professional for Hire said...

I'm not hatin. I suspect a lot of hating cause people are tired of seeing Boston shine. The Red Sox and Patriots dominating your teams is no reason to hate on the Celtics.
I have no problem with Phil getting another ring, I don't hate Kobe. He's dope and I won't be mad at a Lakers victory, I'd rather see Boston.

YOU ARE CRAZY if you really believe this is the start of another 3-peat. The only way Kobe can get 12 rings is if he goes to Brooklyn with Lebron.

Poster BOY said...

You again?

I said that Kobe would get 6! Phil would then have a total of 12.

p.s. LeBron hasn't won in Cleveland. Unless they get him a supporting cast, he aint winning in Brooklyn either.

LB goes to Crooklyn and they give him what he wants because they know he will win championships if they get what he needs. Only three peat they have is a three peat loss...well can't say that either because they will not make it back to the Finals next year. The only things the Russians are shooting are a couple of Sputnicks in the air.

who won last night how did rondo do?

I gotta admit it, the kid Rondo looked good. He showed confidence in his jumper and penetrated well and drew fouls. We'll see what/how he does when the a game and the series are on the line.

The big 3 stepped up. They are going to have to keep it up to pull it off.

now it is going to get interesting. Celts can win on the road but the Lakers can come out and bang out three wins, 3-2 Lakers, 3-3 tie, game 7 hello. OR 3-2 Celts, 3-3 tie, hello 7.
